Kyle Garrison Named to Second All-Region Team

Members of the Herkimer County Community College men's baseball team were recently named to the 2013 All-Region Team.

The Generals' 30-14 season included an 11-game winning streak in April and a 10-game winning streak in May. The team won the Mountain Valley Conference Championship and was defeated in the Region III Tournament by Niagara and Erie Community Colleges.

Herkimer County Community College is a unit of the State University of New York, located in Herkimer, NY about 20 miles east of Utica, NY. With an enrollment of approximately 3,600 students, Herkimer offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs, on-campus housing, an active co-curricular activities schedule and a national championship athletic program. Herkimer is a Division III member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and has amassed 36 national, 90 regional and 133 conference championships. Herkimer placed third in the 2011-12 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup competition.
