Stephanie Streit was accepted into the Disney college program

Three students from Herkimer County Community College's Travel and Events Management program were selected into the highly competitive Disney College Program for the Spring 2014 semester.

Stephanie Streit from Monroe will be working in merchandise.

The three students will spend the spring semester living, learning and earning in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World Resort. Associate Professor Debra Sutton said "This program allows students to gain academically-oriented work experience as well as academic credit."

Herkimer County Community College is a unit of the State University of New York, located in Herkimer, NY, about 20 miles east of Utica, NY.
