Sylvia Ross Named to All-Region Team

Herkimer County Community College's men's and women's swimmers and divers were named to All-Region Teams as the result of their outstanding finishes at the Region III/Northeast District Championship at Monroe Community College, including: Sylvia Ross, Holland Patent, 1st Team All-Region, women's 1 meter diving; 2nd Team All-Region women's 2 meter diving.

Herkimer County Community College is a unit of the State University of New York, located in Herkimer, NY about 20 miles east of Utica, NY. With an enrollment of approximately 3,600 students, Herkimer offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs, on-campus housing, an active co-curricular activities schedule and a national championship athletic program. Herkimer is a Division III member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and has amassed 36 national, 90 regional and 133 conference championships. Herkimer placed third in the 2011-12 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup competition.
