Teresa DeCarr Inducted Into Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society

Teresa DeCarr a Travel and Tourism: Hospitality & Events Management major from Ilion was recently inducted into Herkimer County Community College's Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa international honor society.The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. Students who have completed 12 or more credits with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher are invited to join. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education, with more than 1.5 million members and 1,200 chapters located in all 50 of the United States, U.S. territories, British Virgin Island, Canada, Germany, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau.
