Victoria Campanian Named Region III Co-Athlete of the Week

Victoria Campanian from Glenfield has been named Region III Co-Athlete of the week at Herkimer County Community College.

Campanian is a member of the women's cross country team and majoring in Early Childhood. Campanian won the Mountain Valley Conference Championship hosted by Herkimer County Community College. She ran the 3.1 mile course in a time of 20:06; the runner-up finished 42 seconds behind her. Campanian has been strong all year, with three first-place finishes in six meets this season. She is coached by Julie DelMedico and Stephen Sydoriw.

Herkimer County Community College is a unit of the State University of New York, located in Herkimer, NY about 20 miles east of Utica, NY. With an enrollment of approximately 3,200 students, Herkimer offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs, on-campus housing, an active co-curricular activities schedule and a national championship athletic program. Herkimer is a Division III member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and has amassed 38 national, 92 regional and 136 conference championships. Herkimer placed third in the 2012-13 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup competition.
